Whats the difference between the Classic, and Ultra-Ion?
The Classic is DWG International's flagship product that came out in the early 1990's It is a polymer based product with there polyguard 3 technology. With this product you want to work sections at a time, and buff off before it sits to long.
The Ultra-Ion came out around 2003 for the newer softer clear coats on new paints that are easier to feather scratch. It uses Ionic Technology, and puts a positive charge on your vehicle to help repel dust. It also breaks down organic matter much easier such as bird droppings, bugs, and tree saps. making these much easier to clean. With this product there is a longer cure time, as the Ultra-Ion needs to dry. The time required depends on the weather, but the best way to tell if your microfiber towel is dragging, then it needs more time, typically you can apply the the entire vehicle, and then go back and buff it off.
